Privacy Policy

In short: Simply TelePrompt does not collect, store or share any of your personal information. Your scripts stay on your iPhone, and your videos are saved to your own Photos library. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.

This policy explains how the Simply TelePrompt iPhone app ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. The app is published by Julian Davis.

Information we collect

None. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party data collection tools. It does not connect to our servers or any other online service.

Information stored on your device

Scripts you write or paste are stored only on your iPhone, inside the app's private storage.
Settings (scroll speed, text size, countdown, orientation and reading-area height) are stored only on your iPhone.
Unsaved takes are kept temporarily on your iPhone until you save or discard them.

Deleting the app removes all of this data. We cannot see, access or recover it.

Permissions the app asks for

Camera: to show the preview and record video of you while you read your script.
Microphone: to record your voice with the video.
Photos: to save finished recordings to your Photos library and put them in a "Teleprompter" album.

Recordings are made and saved only when you choose to. They go straight to your Photos library on your device and are never uploaded by the app. If you use iCloud Photos, Apple may sync your library under your own iCloud settings and Apple's privacy policy.

You can change or withdraw these permissions at any time in the iPhone Settings app.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share any information, because we do not have any. If you share a video yourself (for example from the Photos app), that happens outside Simply TelePrompt and is governed by the app or service you share it with.

Children

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Contacting us by email

If you email us for support, we use your email address and anything you include only to answer your request. We do not add you to mailing lists or share your details.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
